In 2001, GE Capital IT Solutions Disaster Recovery Services was purchased by Generation Partners, a U.S.-based private investment firm.
Inspired by new leadership and company name, Agility took a hard look at the industry. Management realized the company could reverse the traditional business continuity model and provide on-site, mobile recovery solutions for all businesses, regardless of size –for a fraction of the cost.
To handle the traditional issues of scale, cost and complexity, Agility introduced an innovative membership model called ReadySuite™. Through this model, Agility is able to provide access to its recovery network for a minimum monthly fee. If a member declares a disaster, Agility sets its recovery plan in motion and delivers the necessary recovery elements in 48 hours or less. The member is billed for the associated out-of-pocket recovery costs.
This innovative solution works for all businesses and provides a cost-effective way for businesses to stay connected to employees, clients, partners and more – no matter what.
ReadySuite membership includes access to:
Innovation: The key to fast recovery
Many prospective members wonder how Agility is able to scale its resources. What would happen if a large number of members needed to be recovered simultaneously, as in a large regional event? Quite simply, as Agility’s membership base grows, so does its resources.
The company is constantly monitoring its assets and evolving recovery operations. Agility does things a lot differently today than it did three years ago. And three years from now, the company will do things a lot differently than it does today. Agility’s commitment to constant innovation is what allows the company to keep its promise.
ReadySuite: A Simple Solution for a Complex World
To handle the issues of scale, cost and complexity, Agility developed an innovative membership model called ReadySuite. Within 48 to 96 hours of an interruption, Agility will deliver any or all of the four key ReadySuite recovery elements:
This recovery solution works for all businesses and includes everything needed to get back up and running and reconnected to employees, clients, partners and more. ReadySuite also provides organizations access to MyAgility, a secure, online planning portal that allows members to access and edit their recovery plan from virtually anywhere. Memberships begin at $275 per month.
Technology QuickShip Program
Agility’s customized technology QuickShip program can be subscribed to as a stand-alone offering or as part of ReadySuite membership. QuickShip is also an excellent complement for businesses conducting or looking to migrate to an internal recovery capability.
Consulting
Agility’s experienced and certified consultants offer workshop-style engagements modeled on the same simple, cost-effective format as our ReadySuite solution. Custom engagements for businesses with more complex requirements are also available.
Testing
A recovery exercise, often referred to as a test, is the crux to creating and preserving a viable recovery plan. Agility offers various options for testing recovery plans at an Agility facility or onsite at a member’s location.
