Key Elements of Recovery

Our proven approach to disaster recovery is based on the quick and effective restoration of the four key elements necessary to resume business operations:

  • Power
Agility has access to over 80,000 mobile power generators through established, priority relationships with vendors throughout North America, that are transported to your site upon declaration of a disaster in which power supply is interrupted.
  • Technology

In the event of an interruption that affects your computers and/or networking systems, Agility’s QuickShip program will deliver replacement equipment from our inventory within a predetermined timeframe, usually 12 to 24 hours. Agility’s ever-expanding pool of $35 million of dedicated disaster recovery equipment includes:

    • Intel servers, PCs and laptops
    • Midrange processors including RS/6000, AS/400, iSeries, HP Alpha, VAX
    • Networking, peripherals, storage and backup devices

Our QuickShip program also includes proprietary relationships with numerous vendors and shippers including HP, IBM, GE, GSI, FedEx and more.

  • Work Space

Agility has access to nearly 100,000 mobile offices throughout North America. Deployed from 80 strategically-located staging areas, offices arrive onsite within 48 hours, providing organizations with fully-equipped work environments.

Although Agility is recognized as the premier provider of on-site mobile recovery solutions, we offer members numerous space options for recovery, including the ability to utilize hundreds of millions of square feet of vacant office and retail space across North America.

Regardless of whether we recover your business in a mobile office or an existing facility, Agility will provide you with the desks, chairs and associated equipment you require to get your employees back to work in a comfortable, functioning office space.

  • Connectivity

Utilizing satellite communications via teleports in New York and Texas, Agility provides robust voice and data recovery services. The solution offers members state-of-the-art PBX capabilities for standard voice services and auto attendant functonality. Agility can also provide custom-engineered automatic call distribution (ACD) services for call center recovery.

At time of recovery, many members utilize Agility’s ability to redirect phone lines to a voice mailbox or alternate number. This service ensures you will continue to communicate with clients, no matter what.

Data services are provided through the Internet and secure connections can be engineered via virtual private network (VPN).

A key advantage of the ReadySuite model is membership-based pricing similar to an insurance product. A Ready-Suite membership costs as little as $275/month to reserve resources for a 48-seat facility – with actual cost of needed recovery services due after a disaster is declared, at which time they may be covered by Business Interruption insurance.

Providing a combination of both dedicated and turn-key solutions is a key Agility advantage. It gives us the flexibility to protect locations that many not be cost-effectively served by other disaster recovery providers. This can result in significant cost saving, while extending business continuity protection across your branch locations.
